My name is Yinet Iturralde, I studied medicine in Cuba where I obtained my Doctor of Medicine degree and a Residency in Family Medicine which I exerted for several years. I also obtained a Residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics with a Master degree in Comprehensive Care for Women. I exerted as a gynecologist and obstetrician for many years and specialized in surgical hysteroscopy, midwifery and pediatric-teenage gynecology, where I got to be a member of the Cuban Pediatric Gynecology Committee.
On October 2015 I moved to US, Florida along with my family where I currently live and work as a Medical Assistant. I am studying to get a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and hoping to get a specialized master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner in the near future.
No matter the place or the position I work for, medicine for me is one of my greatest passions. I’m also interested in human behavior, personal growth and recently in nutrition and healthy living.

This blog is a way to share all of these interests with my friends, patients, colleagues and everyone who can enjoy sharing ideas.
